At Igneous Solutions, we price projects using a methodology that is based on context-based and ethical pricing.​The goal of our pricing strategy is to find an ethical, mutually-agreeable price (variable or fixed) that takes into account internal and external variables for both Igneous Solutions and the potential client. ​We believe that consultant fees should not be exploitative in either direction, and that mutually beneficial pricing can be reached through transparent and honest communication where each party values the ethical treatment of one's self and one another.​
We kick this process off by leading the potential client through a series of questions to better understand the organization and its needs. We then assess this information against our own internal and external factors to either a) arrive at a price that we believe to be mutually fair and beneficial, or b) assess the project fee shared by the potential client.
From there, we would invite our potential client to have an open, transparent conversation around pricing, the factors that are being considered, and attempt to find a project fee that both sides feel good about.
Due to the nature of our pricing strategy, prior pricing is not an indicator of future pricing, even for different projects within the same organization, as contextual factors are constantly changing.
